I am an artist, researcher and lecturer from Rome, Italy based in the Scottish Highlands.

I trained at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" where I obtained an MA in Art History and a postgraduate diploma in Art Management Psychology. In 2012 I was awarded a practice-based PhD in Visual Cultures by the University of the West of Scotland.

I currently work as an Art and Design Lecturer at the University of the Highlands and Islands (Inverness) and tutor and module leader for Critical and Cultural Studies at the Interactive Design Institute (Edinburgh).

My artworks comprise installation, photography, new media, and performance. At the origin of my creative practice is research into melancholic myths, ecology, invisible geographies, memories, haunted landscapes and the ephemerality of being.
